The massenet model, with its beautiful line, its complex cut pattern, its subtle line foot ending with a finely faceted cut button, is a luxury production from saint louis. A model that has become emblematic of crystal making over the decades - it has been produced in numerous variations around tableware: glass services and carafes, salad bowls, cups, plates... In plain and overlay crystal - it has been followed ever since many decades and still produced today. It has become one of the symbols of the aesthetics of french crystal and the know-how and refinement of which st louis is capable. Our decanter, an old production, does not bear the signature of saint louis; it is of course represented in catalogs from the beginning of the last century. In its early days, the saint-louis crystal factory stuck paper labels. Indeed, we still find these labels on certain products, although they are on the verge of disappearing... It is in perfect condition.
