Sofa, Louis XIII style, nineteenth century

Superb wooden bench native Louis XIII style. Twisted columns decorated with spinning tops on the backrest, armrests terminated by balls, base joined by a rosary spacer. The sofa is trimmed with a fabric with a High Epoque pattern of animals in rinceaux like the initial letters of medieval manuscripts. Very nice decorative furniture. Probably from Spain, 19th century.
