Description
Old japanese vase called satsuma type of japanese porcelain born in the sixteenth century still produced today. The typical production begins at the end of the nineteenth century in the province of satsumaa the extreme south of japan this production is mainly intended for export and allows the development of japonism in europe.the bottom of the vase is ivory color and it has large decorations in very colorful enamels in ochre and golden tones. There are characters of samurai and geishas as well as the landscape of the mountains.
