Almond branches in bloom in a glass of water

Indian ink drawing on paper, signed b. Jacquet. Baptistin jacquet (1895-1984) is an artist of the provençal school born in marseille. This work was probably bought in 1971 during the exhibition dedicated to him at the cahors gallery in marseille from april 20 to may 3, 1971. A poster of this exhibition was glued to the back of the original frame. The setting in poor condition and without charm has been replaced by a montparnasse frame. A pass everywhere and a glass, both made to measure, have been added to enhance this work. The frame, old is slightly twisted. Possibility to buy the drawing without frame if you wish.
