Description
Large ceramic fondue pot or saucepan from the Robert Picault workshop which specialized in culinary tableware. Robert Picault (1919-2000) A genius ceramist, having worked closely with Picasso and Roger Capron, he created his own alquifoux (mixture of lead sulfide and sand) and developed this very personal style inspired by the Muslim Middle Ages with traced geometric patterns, in duotone, blue and manganese and especially green and manganese. He created a factory to fulfill orders from the Aga Khan. The personal parts are signed "Picault" in full, after his departure the industrial parts are signed "rp"
