Székely pierre (1923-2001) equilibre, 1971. Granite relief screen-printed in red on tissue paper. Very beautiful proof signed in pencil lower right, titled, described "silk / granite print", dated 1970-71 and numbered 141/290 on the left side. Edition of 290 copies. Sheet dimensions: 53 X 53 cm. Image size: 50 X 50 cm. In very good condition (2 vertical folds). Information: original print whose silk matrix is imprinted with a granite relief sculpted by the artist on the exterior wall of his workshop impasse villiers de l'isle adam (since 2005: 7, rue hélène jakubowicz), in paris, 20th. This sculpture is still present there today (see photos). Reference: the relief sculpture (dated 1970) like the eponymous print (dated 1971) both appear in the catalog raisonné of the prints of the artist and sculptor, established by pierre karinthi (notes and photos of the two pieces available online: http: //jpkarinthi.free.fr/estampes.htm).
