Abstract painting Miklos Bokor

Miklos Bokor is a French painter of Hungarian origin in March 1927 and died in Paris on March 18, 2019. Very close to the poets Yves Bonnefoy and André du Bouchet, Miklos Bokor's work is populated with silhouettes that emerge from the painter's memory, from the origins of humanity to the most contemporary history. Miklos Bokor shared his life between his Parisian studio in La Ruche and the lot where he had bought the Maraden church, which he had completely restored by creating frescoes on the interior walls. Miklos Bokor exhibited regularly at the Ditesheim gallery in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and at the Guillaume gallery in Paris. In 2014, the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris exhibited eleven very large formats of Bokor. The artist's last exhibition took place at the Galerie Guillaume in November 2018.
