Lamp, turned wooden base

This charming little turned wooden lamp base with a dark varnish just needs to be paired with a lampshade of your choice (I can include the lampshade that was on the lamp when I found it; it's cute but worn with multiple small stains, see last photos). The electrical system is complete (socket for a small screw bulb E14, switch, electrical cable, ring to screw onto the socket to hold the lampshade). This lamp base is likely from the 1980s. It is in generally good condition, the electrical system works, I have tested it, the switch is from an era when they lasted a lifetime (unlike today unfortunately), but it has a few small superficial marks on the wood (abrasion of the varnish). It measures 18.5 cm in height (including the socket) with a maximum diameter of 7 cm.
