Fischel armchair n°60. Stamp 1925-1930 ca. A model in line with the designs initiated by the Viennese Secession at the beginning of the twentieth century, returned in force in the art deco period thanks to a mature taste for forms that are both refined, geometric and stylized. In the anniversary album of the 60th anniversary of the Fischel firm in 1930 there is a photo of the restaurant of the Hotel Terminus in Monte-Carlo with the neighboring model (50/E). Here the 60/E medallion version of 1929 ca where an elegant strut in arches of the feet replaced that in single circle of 1925. The tone of the woods is American mahogany. Strapping and upholstery redone with a jacquard fabric chosen in the spirit of the patterns of the wiener werkstatte. (Froca editor, Voluta collection, "butterfly" motif - n°12 gray-brown tone, made warmer than in the photo, see last board). Height 79 cm, seat height 47 cm, seat 50 X 47 cm, width between armrests 45.5 cm. Delivery all France, professional invoice.
