Antique square ceramic ashtray

Vintage square ceramic ashtray with four notches for placing cigarettes. The number "722" is engraved on the base. With its glaze in brown and green tones, this pretty object is in the style of the ceramic production of "west germany" which brought together more than sixty studios between the decades 1950-1970. A large production was mainly obtained by molding. The pieces, produced in series, were then glazed individually. The most widespread and widely exported productions come from bay, dümler & breiden, scheurich, carstens, jasba, strehla or roth.
