Cast iron trivet or teapot coaster, Japan, 1960s

Cast iron trivet raised by three spikes, handle protected by an elegant rattan tie. Geometric patterns, clean lines. An old japanese piece, very elegant. Dimensions: l24.5 X ∅16 X h1.5 cm the rattan shows some traces of time, typical of age and use. The cast iron has been cleaned and treated with olive oil. The general condition ranges from very good to excellent.
