Vintage 1950s industrial workshop factory lamp KI-E-KLAIR design - 80 cm

Antique chrome factory lamp by KI-E-KLAIR, circa 1950, in good condition. Originating between Gras and Jieldé, KI-E-KLAIR lamps were a small revolution with their double articulation. We now know that they equipped some of Jean Prouvé's design offices (Source: Autrefois la lumière, link on request). This lamp is very clean; the chrome is not significantly pitted. The electrical system is original; it works with a bayonet bulb (not included). The key switch near the cap still works. The Bakelite plug is original. The lamp is secured with a sea-green double-screw clamp. The brand can be seen on the tightening screws. It measures 52cm high, 80cm high when extended (the lower arm is telescopic), and the cap measures 13cm in diameter.
