Large pair of Space Age wall lights from the 50s/60s.

Pair of large Italian wall sconces, 1950s/60s in the Space Age / Atomic Age style. Rare and magnificent pair of Italian wall sconces from the Space Age / Atomic Age period (1950s/60s). These sconces feature a spectacular patinated brass structure with radial stems, combined with opaline glass diffusers. Their design evokes a stylised flower or celestial body, with numerous fine stems radiating around a central axis, giving the whole a particularly elegant sculptural presence. Each sconce has five light points. Once lit, the lights diffuse a soft and warm atmosphere, while the metal stems cast beautiful shadow patterns on the wall. A particularly decorative pair that fits well in both a classic interior with mouldings and in a more contemporary, vintage, or eclectic decor. A strong piece for lovers of vintage Italian lighting and 1950s/60s design. Perfectly matched pair. Functioning: perfect, electricity checked. Bulbs: 10 warm white E14 bulbs included. Condition: very good condition with beautiful patina on the brass (see photos). Dimensions: 52 cm diameter X 23 cm depth. ------ 📦Careful shipping.
