The 302 easy chair is a well-known classic by celebrated mid-20th-century dutch designer willem hendrik gispen. Originally created for the dutch company kembo in the 1950s, the 302 easy chair boasts a slender solid steel structure inspired by nature, more precisely by the world of insects. This beautiful armchair is also called the "triennale, " after receiving the 1954 triennale design award in milan, italy. Later, this elegant model was taken back into production by leolux. This is the younger version. With its beautiful black bar steel frame w/sloping seat and back, the 302 is a fantastically quirky addition to any space! The legs are finished with the original self-adjusting furniture caps, and the upholstery is a purple and pink woolen fabric in perfect vintage condition—no discoloration or holes!
