Glazed stoneware jug with deep black drips on a sandy background, French work from the 1950s-70s in the spirit of Denbac productions and modernist stoneware workshops. Very beautiful architectured silhouette with a sharply pinched spout, large sculpted handle, and flowing glazes with tobacco brown and graphite black reflections. The speckled sandy paste contrasts elegantly with the thick, almost volcanic drips that descend on the body of the jug. Under the base, marked P80. French work from the second half of the 20th century, in line with the research of flamed stoneware and flowing glazes popularised by certain modernist workshops like Denbac. In beautiful vintage condition, with some discreet signs of age and micro marks of use (see photos). Base diameter 9 cm, height 17 cm, widest diameter 11.5 cm, spout handle length 13.5 cm, estimated capacity around 80 cl. A mineral and graphic presence that immediately catches the light.
