Description
Robert picault (1919-2000) a genius ceramist, having worked closely with picasso and roger capron, he created his own alquifoux (mixture of lead sulfide and sand) and developed this very personal style inspired by the muslim middle ages with traced geometric patterns, in duotone, blue and manganese and especially green and manganese. He created a factory to fulfill orders from aga khan. Frying pan with perforated handle to be able to hang it as decoration but robert picault was the master of culinary ceramics. Small grain on the handle, visible in the photo but is in superb condition.
