Wrought iron coat rack

The coat rack is in perfect condition. This is a very fine example of authentic folk art, the object having been hand-forged by a craftsman in the first half of the 20th century. The coat rack has retained its magnificent original patina. The paint, which is worn by use on the edges and protruding parts, reveals the metal in places, which gives it a crazy charm. It has been waxed with natural beeswax to fix the patina and protect it. The plate that serves as the base of the coat rack is pierced with three holes, which allow it to be fixed to the wall, or on a door for example. The fixing material is not supplied with the coat rack. Unique artisanal piece, french folk art from the very beginning of the 20th century.
