Louis XVI style secretary

Louis XVI style secretary in originally varnished mahogany and its slightly veined white marble dark grey. Around 1950. It has been restored and patinated in matte black with a waxed finish. Golden brass rings and golden bronze locks. 1 drawer and 2 front doors. Interior left in varnished mahogany. The compasses are made of brass. Abattant in gold-shaped burgundy leather with a cross motif in the centre (a few traces of wear). Niche with 3 small drawers. Shelf in the bottom of the cabinet. Back of the oak secretary. Includes 2 keys. Note the left door at the bottom of the furniture is very slightly veiled (see photo), from the front it is hardly visible and a tiny shine on the edge of the marble (see photo), all these little details do not take away in any way the beauty of the furniture which is as a whole in very good condition and fully functional.
