Curule stool in patinated carved wood, Manuel Canovas seat, 60 cm

Superb curule chair in painted solid wood, revisited in a chic oriental spirit. Its arched structure in an inverted X, inspired by Roman ceremonial seats, is highlighted by a cream patina and a floral motif carved on the front. The seat is made of curved slats, topped with a thick, reversible and removable cushion. The cushion is covered in a designer fabric by Manuel Canovas, illustrating traditional Indian scenes (horsemen, elephants, musicians) in bright and contrasting colors. The reverse is in plain fuchsia canvas. Discreet zipper.
