Bench, bidet chaise longue from the 1930s

Object of curiosity, small bench, stool, bidet, deck chair... It dates from the 1930s, it is made of beech. It was painted several times, it was white I stripped it and repainted it black, I varnished the metal and left it raw. I put a cloth back on top. The question is how it was used. It can be an unusual booster seat! It is in good condition except for wear and tear from time and use. One foot is slightly worked and there are some missing enamel below the bidet which is made of enameled sheet metal from the Japy brand.
