Enamelled earth jar, 1920

Red earth jar mounted with doves still visible under the enamel of a covered of a dark beige smooth and velvety. Windy but slender shape with the simple elegance of useful objects - shape and function, made to last. Very heavy object to the fresh touch. Beak pinched by hand and the number 3 (like 3 liters) engraved in 2 gestures on the handle. A fine crack in the cooking. Powerful and quiet object of pretty proportions. Height 27cm. Diameter at the widest 18cm.
