The streamlined oval shape of the trays covered in walnut veneer, combined with the black columns contrasting with the silver sleeves, gives this side table the distinctive timeless aesthetic of the Art Deco movement. Originating from France in the 1930s, this side table features a simple design but offers an opulent organic finish that combines the glamour and modernity of the early 20th century with a sense of sophisticated luxury. We were delighted to find that the table had been stored upside down for many years, thus protecting the surfaces from damage and stains (visible on the underside). As a result, the veneer is in excellent condition on the trays, and the silver sleeves have retained their shine.
