Infuse a chic and sunny Riviera spirit into your interior with this superb modernist chest of drawers from the 1970s. Born from the high-end collaboration between the publishing house Roche Bobois and the renowned manufacturer Maugrion, it embodies the perfect balance between elegance and bohemian authenticity. Its robust structure made of thick rattan is complemented by finely woven wicker work on the drawers. Its colour offers a magnificent original patina with deep reflections, shifting in the light between amber honey and subtle shades of purple/mahogany that contribute to its unique charm. Authenticity: The piece still bears its original label on the back. Although partially torn (see photo), the red and blue graphic design typical of Roche Bobois/Maugrion editions of the time remains perfectly identifiable, attesting to its prestigious manufacture. Characteristics & Condition: Style: Riviera, Chic Bohemian, Mid-Century. Dimensions: H 76 cm × W 95 cm × D 50 cm. Storage: Very functional, the two upper drawers feature a very practical removable compartment system for organisation. The large bottom drawer does not have a compartment, making it ideal for bulkier items. Condition: Overall beautiful vintage condition. The structure is sound, stable, and heavy. The drawers slide perfectly. Note some minute signs of age that are normal for its age and do not detract from its charm and sturdiness.
