Cantilever chair in brown laced leather, Italy 70/80

Vintage cantilever chair in chrome-plated tubular steel and patinated brown saddle leather, made in Italy in the 70s/80s. Seat and backrest in a single strip of leather stretched by a central eyelet lacing, with reinforcement bars under the seat and a high tubular crossbar forming an elegant visual handle. In the style of the famous Spoleto model published by Knoll, this chair illustrates modernist and Bauhaus design revisited by Italian production of the seventies. Condition: good vintage condition. Uniform patina of the leather, visible wear on the front edge of the seat and discreet scratches, chrome with micro-pitting, replaced lacing (functional). Stable, solid and comfortable chair. Dimensions approx.: H 80 × W 48 × D 60 cm – Seat height 46 cm.
