Traditional matte black enameled cast iron casserole dish, doufeu model produced by cousances, lecreuset's competitor which was absorbed by lecreuset in the 70s, they nevertheless continued to manufacture under the cousances name for several decades. The lid has a reservoir on the top to fill with cold water or ice in order to accentuate the effect of condensation which falls onto the food via the pins below. It is in good condition, light marks on the bottom.
