Royal Worcester Evesham Gold pie dish

A magnificent practical tart dish made by Royal Worcester in the famous Evesham Gold pattern, highly sought after by collectors. The dish features a classic fluted edge and is decorated with apples, leaves, and blackberries. The tart dish is in good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing. Some of the gilding on the edge is worn and has a few scratches, but nothing beyond normal wear. There is a slight raised "spot" in the centre of the tart dish that has turned grey, but the glaze is not broken. The back is unglazed and very clean, except for a few marks on the edge beneath the stamp on the back (see photo). Unlike other Evesham Gold pieces, this one is marked as dishwasher safe. With a weight of 700 g unboxed, the tart dish has a diameter of 25.5 cm and edges 3.5 cm deep. A charming and practical item for your home or to complete a collection.
