Polka dot pourer - Paul Jacquet - early XXth

Glazed earth pourer, spherical shape with a trefoil opening, double butt socket surmounting the rumen, decoration of a frieze of bright yellow enamel peas, blue stripes and yellow stripes staked with blue, navy blue background. Signed pj for paul jacquet (1883-1968). Paul jacquet is a savoyard ceramist professor at the beaux-arts in geneva, he is part of the tradition of savoy pottery by mixing them with art deco modernism and african influences. He collaborated with the primavera workshops and received the gold medal at the exhibition of decorative arts in 1925. He influenced jean besnard and produced pieces for the vuitton family. This discreet but exceptionally mastery piece can fit into most tasteful interiors.
