19th century antique Primitive mountain chair

Traditional antique mountain chair from southern Germany. This characteristic and primitive chair is entirely handmade and assembled with mortise and tenon joints. This example is made of pine wood and was once painted in a beige colour. The old paint is worn in many places, giving the chair a beautiful patina. The chair is sturdy and suitable for daily use.
