Fog & Morup White Bunker 'Maxi' Danish Pendant Lamp

An original 1970s white-lacquered steel pendant lamp from the 'bunker' series, designed by renowned danish lighting designer, jo hammerborg, in 1974 or earlier for fog & mørup. The 'bunker' series drew on industrial lighting, simplified and modernised for domestic use, and was available in three sizes - mini, midi, and maxi. This lamp is the larger of the three sizes. The lamp accepts a standard e27 edison screw bulb and has been rewired with premium vintage-style italian-made fabric-braided cable in a striking orange colour for a little contrast. Bears original fog & mørup label to interior. There is a few small spots to the surface of the lamp (see last image), but otherwise in excellent condition for age.
