Chest of drawers 386 designed by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard, 1960

Danish chest of drawers model 386 designed by Kai Kristiansen in the late 1950s. It was produced by the furniture company Aksel Kjersgaard in Odder. The cabinet features three spacious drawers with the characteristic round, milled handles that give the design its distinctive character. The warm teak veneer, the sleek cabinet shape, and the elegant base with slender legs create a particularly balanced whole. The piece of furniture is in very beautiful vintage condition with minimal signs of use. The back of the cabinet is stamped as a sign of authenticity. A subtle and characterful cabinet that comes into its own perfectly as a bedside table, side cabinet, or compact chest of drawers.
