Here is an old wooden box finely and richly carved on all sides of animated scenes of 42 characters, houses and trees, countour of moving form. Origin: china. Period: late nineteenth century. With a key but the lock does not work. Set in good condition, beautiful patina of time, to note: 2 splinters at the rear corners at the bottom (photo 7) and traces of use on the fabric of the background, traces of antiquity as in the photos, which do not do it justice, the tones of the wood are the same on all sides and top, the most accurate on photos 5, 7 and 10.
