Modern mid-century dome pendant light attributed to Hans Agne Jakobsson, 1960s.

Vintage design. Mid-century aluminium pendant lamp with shutters. This design is often attributed to Hans-Agne Jakobsson and the manufacturer Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB, Markaryd. However, there is no evidence to support this attribution, such as manufacturer labels or literary sources. The body of the lamp is made up of shutters. These direct light sideways out of the lampshade, highlighting the lamellar structure of the lamp. It provides both direct downward light and indirect light. A protruding ring at the bottom of the lamp is designed to prevent direct glare from the bulb. Unlike classic HAJ lamps, the overlap and shape of the shutters in this lamp appear a bit more angular, and the openings between the shutters are larger. A concave ring against glare also completes the lamp at the bottom. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and a patina.
