"cb07" birch writing desk by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1953

Mid- century modern period secretary/ cabinet designed by famous dutch furniture designer cees braakman and manufactured by pastoe in early 1950's period. Model- cb07. Cabinet has many shelves and drawers for storage. The drop down leave becomes a writing desk. The cabinet is made of birch wood and is in a good condition due to it's age and use. Cees braakman was one of the most influential designers in the netherlands. His forward-thinking designs paved the way for success for pastoe, and he remained head of the design department until 1978.
