Bamileke customary chief's stool (Cameroon)

Cameroon - Bamiléké. Traditional chief's stool in carved monoxyl wood, the slightly hollowed seat is supported by four uprights decorated with stylized spiders joined by spacer bars engraved with striations. 20th century (wear from use) Height: 27.5 cm. Length: 38 cm. Depth: 28 cm.
