Brass table 1970 Italian lacquer

Old table with its brass structure and its ivory white lacquer top and brass surround from the 70s, from italy, reminiscent of the creations of jean-claude mahey in particular. We love the general design of this table, with its beautiful elegance and uniqueness. The very refined and graphic brass base accommodates a large wooden top covered in thick ivory white lacquered paint. A pretty brass-plated metal surround finishes it off. This table can be used as a dining table as well as a desk. The top has some defects, slight impacts in the paint and an old cigarette mark which has left a small yellowed halo. The brass, for its part, is in very good condition, with some small marks of pitting in places, inherent to its age. The top is fixed to the base using brass screws. The base is quite light, but the top is relatively heavy. Made in italy label present on the structure. - total dimensions - 178 X d 89 X h 77 cm height under headband 72 cm thickness of the top - 5 cm defects - 1 X 0.6 and 0.8 X 0.4 and 0.2 X 0.5 cm approximately.
