Daens antoine (brussels 1871 - ixelles 1946) Post-impressionist painter and pastellist of landscapes, genre scenes and figures. Student at the brussels academy. Professor at the watermael-boitsfort academy. His mediterranean works are highly sought after. He travelled for long periods in italy, france and north africa.
