Biomorphic-inspired sculpture, on an industrial wooden base, 35 cm

Biomorphic-inspired sculpture, made of satin-finish white porcelain biscuit and mounted on an industrial-looking turned wooden base. This abstract piece, with its soft, symmetrical curves, comes from the repurposing of an old balloon mold transformed into a unique sculptural object. Its elongated, shallow, and tapered silhouette recalls the organic forms of the 1950s. The contrast between the white biscuit and the patinated wood gives the whole a sober but striking presence. Robust and stable, it fits naturally into a refined decorative composition. The object presented is sold individually. Several copies with varying shapes and bases are available. Together, they form a coherent and graphic decorative series (see the last photo). Height: 35 cm. Very good general condition. Patinated base with discreet traces of use.
