Early 1940's art deco articulated chrome desk lamp by Pirouett

Ingenious and beautiful, this articulated lamp consists of a base with a barrel in which the arm holding the metal projector slides to adjust the height. Its four-sided projector also swings back and forth and tilts slightly to the sides. The light projection is thus perfectly controlled, soft to the eye and effective. A luminary that has a personality, a presence, all in restraint, typical of the know-how of art deco. Its cast iron base gives it a perfect stability, especially when changing positions.
