Vintage porcelain carafe from Limoges, white, model after Sandoz.

Beautiful fine porcelain carafe, white, from Limoges, vintage, probably a model by Haviland, unsigned, after Sandoz, vintage 80s-90s. Featuring a stylised duck or goose, small round body with a flat bottom, relief of feathers in clean lines, long narrow neck ending in a head with a lid, open beak, round eye. The inner spout has a small round neck; I recommend using a pouring stopper for serving to avoid splashes, it is assumed there was one originally. 28.5cm maximum total height with lid, approximately 18cm maximum length and 13-14cm maximum width. In very good condition, however, there is a slight nibbling on the tip of the beak/lid, discreet. Approximately 860g.
