American modernist maple dressing table and stool by russel wright for conant ball, 1930s

American art deco – modernist solid maple dressing table by russel wright for conant ball. It has five drawers two of which are internal. This was originally purchased directly from macy’s department store showrooms in new york in 1938. Stool dimensions h41 X w40 X d54cm. The item has been refinished and in generally in good condition with the odd sign of wear and tear including some marks to the top and sides. The stool has been recovered in a dark blue wool fabric by abraham moon. Price includes import vat and fees.
