Wall lamp C-1519 'Planetoid' by Raak Amsterdam, Netherlands, 1970s.

Set of 5 'planetoid' wall sconces c-1519 by Raak Amsterdam, Netherlands, 1970s. Set of 5 iconic planetoid wall sconces by Raak Amsterdam. These striking lamps feature a blue acrylic back panel — evoking a cosmic sky — with an opal glass globe emerging as the light source. The result is a playful and atmospheric design that perfectly captures the experimental spirit of Dutch lighting in the 1970s. The contrast between the deep blue background and the softly glowing opal glass creates a unique ambiance, both sculptural and functional. When lit, the lamps resemble planets floating against the night sky, giving them a distinctive space age character. The 5 lamps are in very good vintage condition and have been professionally re-wired for immediate use. A rare opportunity to acquire multiple examples of one of Raak's most expressive designs — true collector's pieces for mid-century and space age interiors. *Price for one lamp.
