Yellow dwarf wooden game box

Charming old wooden box used to play yellow dwarf. It includes 5 small wooden boxes which fit into the box and which show the figures printed on paper at the bottom of the box. It does not contain the tokens or the deck of cards, but this can be easily found or bought new. The box closes thanks to the sliding lid on the back of which the rules of the game are glued on paper. It probably dates from the first half of the 20th century (subsequently the compartments inside are often made of plastic), but I have not found any information on the company "am n" which published the game, nor on the richard printing company in lyon which printed the paper decorations stuck in the boxes. The whole is in good condition, solid, colors still very bright, few abrasions on the paper, the lid slides well. But obviously this game does not hide its age and has marks from several decades of use: rare screw holes, old and not active but which I still treated out of conscience by injecting white vinegar into the holes (this is my natural method to avoid chemical insecticides), various marks and stains on the wood, and some small stains on the paper parts. The box measures 31 cm by 25.5 cm with a thickness of 5 cm.
