Chandelier in Murano glass from the 60-70s by Kalmar

Splendid murano glass chandelier circa 1970. Important model of the austrian designer kalmar composed of 5 lights, 5 floors and 55 glass plates. Comes from a special order with the very rare feature of having its facets hooked on the hoops (and not hanging from a hook) thanks to an appendage of the glass (see photos of a plate) thus allowing to hide the entire metal structure. The plates are hand-blown glass so all different, slightly curved, and measure about 13 cm high and 11 cm wide. The luminaire part is 60 cm in diameter in the upper part and 25 cm in the lower part for 30 cm in height. The set is held by an adjustable chain (changed) allowing the chandelier to measure up to 80 cm any height. Chromed metal ceiling lamp 6 cm high and 11 in diameter, electrification redone. In excellent condition of use, the veneers have neither shine nor crack (we will note just a few bites of the chrome invisible the suspended luster). This magnificent chandelier, what to say illuminated, will bring a lot of chic to your interior, in a living room, a dining area or a large entrance hall.
