Jostovo painted metal tray, floral motifs, Made in USSR

Serving tray from Zhostovo (Russia), the cradle of hand-painted metal tray production. This one features a black background enhanced with a gilded geometric and floral frieze and a beautiful multicolored floral composition in the center. It is in good overall condition: the front shows some discreet scratches and signs of use, as well as an area of enamel deterioration (possibly due to heat exposure), but without significant aesthetic damage. The back shows several scratches from use. It is stamped "Made in USSR, " dating it to before 1991. Dimensions: 45 X 35 X 1.5 cm. Carefully packaged.
