Police toy on motorcycle LR 1930/40

Louis roussy gave his initials to the brand of toy trains he created around 1927: "l.r". But these initials also (and especially) made it possible to know the brand under the name "le rapide". The manufacture of these toys used "original" materials for such use: brass, wood, thick stamped sheet metal, steel (the edobaud brand used the same materials at the same time but in a more artisanal way). The quality of the mechanics is undeniable, robust; on the other hand, models that use zamac in their manufacture age very badly. Production ceased in 1956.
