Thonet chair nr 5 from 1881-1887

Thonet chair number 5 from 1881-1887, marked with original label and mold. In good condition, it has certainly undergone several restorations, in particular the holes for the caning of the seat and backrest were first closed then reopened in different positions. The structure is still very solid, in my opinion it may be necessary only a simple conservative restoration and perhaps the arrangement of a small strain of the backrest, visible in the photo. The straws are currently slightly damaged but in my opinion they are still usable, although I do not guarantee they will last long. It is certainly one of the most difficult to find classic models of the entire thonet production. The seat height is approximately 46 cm. Shipping is possible. I am a private collector who is forced to sell some of his pieces because of lack of free space.
