Description
I am selling this small enameled stoneware vase created by the beauvais ceramist charles greber (1853-1935), renowned for his “artistic stoneware” anchored in the art nouveau period (around 1900). Under its base, the vase bears the stamp “c. Greber”. It stands out for its shades of color, where flamed pink with midnight blue highlights stands out against a soft green background. Obtained by superimposed flow of enamels, these colors crystallize in places. These colored accords and the alternation of matte and satin glaze make it a characteristic production of the beginning of the last century, fond of flamed stoneware with shapes inspired by nature. It is a beautiful object, pleasant to hold, which is distinguished from the rest of the artist's production by these astonishing depressions on the body of the vase and by the three pouring spouts which adorn the neck. An original and unique gift to give (to you), which will seduce with its old-fashioned charm! ✨ very good general condition, with the exception of a loss of enamel glued inside the beak, barely visible. The vase was recently cleaned, all you have to do is place it at home! The photographs are an integral part of the description: take a good look at them and do not hesitate to ask me your questions. Height at sight: 12 cm; width: 8 cm. Collar flare: 6 cm; circumference at its largest: 26 cm. Weight: 300g.
