Candlestick Lamp, Antique Turned Wooden Base & Striped Lampshade

Unique Side Light, solid wood base, striped lampshade, found in Alsace and updated in my Strasbourg workshop. Upcycled bedside lamp, old turned wood base and striped lampshade. Estimated period of origin: 1890-1920. Origin: France. Style (for the lamp base): "candlestick" or "bougeoir" type base very popular at that time, often inspired by classic candlesticks. Wood was a widely used material, the original height of the base was modified with an additional rod, then painted in a cream shade. New lampshade, slightly trapezoidal in shape, striped orange and cream. The bottom is highlighted by a matching bias. Height of lamp with shade: 56.5 cm. Height of lamp base: 21 cm. Diameter of lamp base: 14 cm. Width of lampshade: 20 cm. Depth of lampshade: 14 cm. Shade height: 35.5 cm. It is designed to work with an E14 bulb. Revised electrical cable and socket. Indoor lighting: suitable for all rooms, except humid areas. CE certified, Complies with European standards. 👉🏼 This is a second-hand lamp base which may show traces of use and time✨.
