Vintage dining chair from the 1960s, Scandinavian style, wood and fabric.

Beautiful vintage dining chair, probably dating from the 1960s, in a Mid-Century Scandinavian style. Its generously curved backrest is made of richly veined walnut veneer and rests on a wooden structure with fine, elegant lines. The softly shaped seat has been recently reupholstered in a warm mustard yellow fabric, chosen to respect the spirit and colours of the room. The proportions are particularly successful: tapered legs, sculptural backrest, lightweight structure, and a harmonious balance between geometric lines and organic curves. The design recalls Scandinavian and Danish furniture from the period, but the manufacturer, designer, and country of production remain unknown. The chair is in generally good vintage condition, with a few minor signs of use and aging on the wood that contribute to the authentic character of the piece. The original fabric was too damaged to be retained and has been replaced with new mustard yellow fabric. An elegant and original piece, ideal around a dining table, in front of a desk, or as an accent chair.
