Very old and very large louis philippe period wardrobe, 19th century. Made by a local cabinetmaker for his own home, in a small village in the south of france, dejean signature on the doors. High-quality materials. Front, sides and finishes in solid walnut. 2 large cupboard doors and 1 drawer hidden in the belt. Chiseled bronze keyholes, original lock and key. Interior fitted with 3 white wood shelves. Solid 22 mm thick shelves that can support +60 kg. For ease of use and maintenance, they have been sanded and varnished. Removable pediment. Wide and stable base, covered in walnut in the louis philippe style. Rare wardrobe with its height of 259 cm including the pediment, elegant and imposing, it offers a good storage capacity. This piece of furniture, over 150 years old, is perfectly functional for everyday use, opening and closing smoothly. Very good condition, stable, solid and robust.
